The 68th Cannes Film Festival Main Competition Unit Golden Palm Award (nomination)Fred and Mick are old friends who go to the Alpine resort and live in a beautiful hotel at the foot of the mountain. Fred is a composer and conductor and is currently retired. Mick is a film director who is still working. With curiosity and gentle eyes, they watched their children's troubled lives, the passionate young writers around them, and other guests in the hotel. Mick is working hard on the script he is working on. He thinks this will be the last important film of his own, and will draw the end point for his career. Fred did not continue to engage in art, but there was a man who was willing to let Fred go to the podium again at all costs.
